Using Dynamic Elements on your site page

Using Dynamic Elements is a quick way to add event details to your event site. The following Dynamic Elements are available on Canvas:

  • Event Name
  • Event Email
  • Event Location Name
  • Event Address
  • Event Description
  • Event Facebook
  • Event Twitter Handle
  • Start Time - (ex: October 1, 2018)
  • Start Time (Short) - (ex: 10/1/18)
  • Start Time (Long) - (ex: Monday, October 1, 2018)
  • Start Date - (ex: October 1, 2019)
  • Start Date (Short) - (ex: 10/1/19)
  • Start Date (Long)- (ex: Monday, October 1, 2019)
  • End Time
  • End Time (Short)
  • End Time (Long)
  • End Date
  • End Date (Short)
  • End Date (Long)

Dynamic Elements are populated using information from Event Configuration > Event Info & Settings > Edit Event Details. If information is not populating when viewing the Public URL, make sure you've entered information for that field in Edit Event Details.

Inserting a Dynamic Element
To insert a Dynamic Element, add a text box to your site page, or select an existing text box, then double-click your cursor within the text box. Select Insert Dynamic Element and choose from the dropdown.
