How can I customize the information shown in my Action?

Some Actions, like sending an SMS, email, or Slack message, may allow you to customize the format information is sent in. Within your Zap, go to Action > Edit Template, and find the Message field. Select Insert a Field, and select the field you would like to have in your message.

Example: When creating a Zap to post a message to Slack when an invitation is updated, in Message Field, I can select Insert a Field > select First Name > enter a space > Insert a Field > select Last Name > enter text “has had their invitation updated for The Big Event”. When an invitation is updated, the Slack message will show, “John Smith has had their invitation updated for The Big Event.”
